Map Gear at Locate24

From 7 – 9th May, 2024 – Brad an Alistair will be at the Geospatial Council of Australia’s Locate24 Survey and Spatial Conference at Darling Harbour. We had a bigger presence at Locate23 in Adelaide but Map Gear won’t have a booth at this years event. 

YEP’s at Locate24

Map Gear is sponsoring Young Emerging Professional (YEP) Aiden Schulz, who is working part time at AirborneLogic while completing his Masters in GIS.

Map Gear have also provided the drone prize for Best Overall Presenter at the Young Emerging Professionals (YEP) Forum.

Fusing GIS and Engineering Symposium

On Thursday morning, Alistair be participating in a symposium on ‘Fusing GIS and Engineering’ and discussing how construction supervisors are empowered with RTK GNSS and LiDAR aerial surveys, in this case during Tailings Storage Facility commissioning and decommissioning.
